Reviews & Evaluations #

AJP standards require that farm employers perform regular reviews and evaluations of employees, once a year at a minimum. Regular check-ins with employees whether by special appointment or at regular meetings or some other creative way ensure that employees know where they stand and have the chance to provide feedback to the farmer or manager about their work together. Employers cannot retaliate against workers based on the feedback provided at this check-in. The person who does the review should write an evaluation and put it in the employee’s file for future reference. Workers have the right to access this file. Standard 3.1.7.
